Get a Library Card?

Library cards are free for any resident of Texas. You must provide identification and proof of your address when applying for a library card. A parent (or legal guardian) must sign the library card application for children under 16 years of age. The first card is free. Replacement cards are $2.00.

Cards are issued at time of application, at all branch locations and may be used at any of our four library locations.

The material is mailed to Wharton County Library and there is a charge of $1.50 for each item requested. You may also enter your own request at Texas Group Catalog. (You will need your library card number and PIN.)
